General Financial and Tax Consulting, LLC is currently seeking a Sales and Use Tax Compliance Specialist for our Cincinnati headquarters. The following is a brief summary of the job duties performed:

Job Description

Expanding tax consulting firm has an opening for a Sales & Use Tax Compliance Specialist in our Cincinnati, Ohio office. This individual will primarily be responsible for preparing sales and use tax returns in a multi-state environment. The individual will also have responsibility for updating and maintaining client data in our national sales & use tax database. In addition, the individual may also have responsibility for tax bill review and payment and will assist Tax Managers with sales and use tax projects and audits as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting or Finance
• At least 1 to 3 years experience preparing sales and use tax returns in a multi-state environment
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail are necessary

This position involves significant customer contact so excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus is required
